Light intensity tester - measures light intensity and displays it on an external current meter (situated on a telescope.) Activity is posted on a NASSA sponsserd web page (Fall1998.) Using a solar cell embedded in a telescope, experiments such as light intensity, color (using color filters) intensity, and polarized light (using Polaroid lens) of stars are available. The students then draw various conclusions including star composition. The scientific topic of polarized light is being emphasized.
