Before marking a line to lay out your work, brush this highly-visible blue ink on your workpiece. Then use a scriber to mark the layout lines on your work. Thie lines scribed in ink are easier to see than lines scratched into metal, and it is easier to remove layout ink from parts by washing in solvent than it is to polish out lines scribed into metal.
