System Overview: The Computerized Motion timer is a multimedia, enhanced graphics project that measures the speed, elapse time, and acceleration of two cars racing each other in two separate lanes. It features an audio announcement of the winner, and displays elapse time, speed and acceleration for each lane in a graph and/or digital format.

Single or dual lane operation is available.   All saved races are kept with names, comments and dates in a data file sorted by best results.

The Start/Finish gates which monitor the crossing of the cars equipped with Infrared sensors thus, are not sensitive to the intensity of the ambient light.
